Southside, VA Remote Area Medical RAM Clinic is coming on Saturday, August 20, 2022 and Sunday, August 21, 2022 to Greensville County High School in Emporia, Virginia. This is a mobile clinic, which provides access to FREE medical, dental and vision care to individuals primarily from Southside Virginia.
The clinic will also provide access to prescription eyeglasses, lab testing, women’s health, pediatric exams, mammograms, dentures, medicine, education and much more.
Doctors, dentists, nurses, dental hygienists, lab techs, social workers, health educators and many other health professionals volunteer their time and talents to provide the care. Several medical specialty doctors will be at the clinic including: cardiologist, endocrinologist, internist, women’s health, podiatrist and others. There will be limited spaces available for dental and vision care. If you have an eyeglass prescription less than a year old, bring it and eyeglasses can be made for you the same day at the clinic.
Through the support of RAM National and the generous financial support of the Greensville Memorial Foundation; Brunswick County, Greensville County, Sussex County and Southampton County Governments’ the Towns of Lawrenceville and Emporia Governments; and the Lawrenceville Lions Club this RAM Clinic is being provided to the residents of the area.
The goal of our RAM Clinic is to provide compassionate care and respect to our patients while maintaining high standards while delivering exceptional care and services to those individuals in need to prevent pain and alleviate suffering.
